The FX Charts widget allows users of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger to track the currency markets from the Dashboard environment:
The front of the widget shows the chart for currency pair and period currently selected. Clicking the info button at the bottom right flips the widget over to display the back which provides configuration controls to select the currency pair and chart period. Clicking the Done button on the back flips the widget over again to the chart on the front. The chart is refreshed every 60 seconds while Dashboard is displayed. The following currency pairs and chart periods are supported:
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required to use this widget. The procedure for download and installation depends on the browser you are using:
Safari
If you're using Safari, click the download link below. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard (F12), click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
Other Browsers
If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link below. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in ~/Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard (F12), click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

N.B. Forexnews have indicated that support for these charts may be discontinued. This widget has therefore been superceded by the more sophisticated Forex Charts Widget with charts and data from DUKASCOPY.
